Thunder keeps grinding to beat Fort Worth

Wichita rallied three different times to defeat the Fort Worth Brahmas 4-3 in a shootout on Sunday in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Fort Worth led 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 but answered with goals each time and Kevin Young scored the goal that tied the game at 3-3 11:55 into the third period.

Greger Hanson scored two goals in regulation for Wichita and RG Flath scored once.

Hanson scored in the bottom half of the eighth round of the shootout for Wichita to seal the win and put the Thunder into first place. Wichita is now on a four-game winning streak.

Wichita went for 2 for 8 on the power play and Fort Worth was 0 for 7.
