MISL leading scorer Doug Miller had five points, leading the Rochester Lancers to a 10-6 win over the Wichita Wings on Saturday afternoon in Rochester, N.Y.
Miller scored the game’s first goal, then got an assist on Jeremy Ortiz’a goal that put the Lancers up 4-0 in the first period.
Frederico Moojen scored for the Wings in the first minute of the second period to make the score 4-2, but the Wings weren’t able to score another goal until late in the third period when Moojen again found the net. That goal pulled the Wings within 8-4.
Geison scored early in the fourth quarter to make it 8-6. Neither team scored again until the final minute, when the Lancers, with a two-man advantage, got a goal from Stephen Basso.
