Wichita business to give gold coin to GraceMed

Heartland Coin Gallery will present GraceMed Health Clinic with a gold coin Thursday, GraceMed CEO Dave Sanford said Wednesday.

The coin contains an ounce of gold. GraceMed will try to increase the amount it gets for the coin by selling it at an auction, Sanford said.

“We’ll look for a special event in 2013 when we can auction it off,” he said. “Every little bit helps, whether it’s a widow’s mite or a wealthy person’s big check.”

The clinic also received a gold coin, from an anonymous donor, in 2004, Sanford said.
