Two Shockers named All-America volleyball players

Wichita State outside hitter Emily Adney and setter Chelsey Feekin received honorable-mention All-America honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Adney, a senior from Golden, Colo., averaged 2.92 kills and 2.4 digs a set. She hit .169 and led the Shockers with 382 kills and 35 aces. She is a three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference pick.

Feekin, a junior from Papillion, Neb., compiled a hitting percentage of .438, which ranks fifth nationally. She averaged 1.94 kills and 9.90 assists and also earned All-MVC honors.

The Shockers (24-10) ended the season last weekend with a loss to Southern California in the Austin Regional.
