Police respond to shooting at south Wichita apartment complex

Wichita police are investigating a shooting at a south Wichita apartment complex, according to Sedgwick County dispatch.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at Village Park at Kingsborough Apartments, near Seneca and 26th Street South, around 6 p.m. Friday, a dispatch supervisor said. Officers on the scene found evidence that a gun had been discharged in the area, she said.

One person reportedly walked into Via Christi Hospital on Harry with injuries that may be connected to the shooting.
