Big week for Wichita concerts

This is a big week for concerts in Wichita. Several venues are packed with shows over the weekend. Among them:

The Cotillion: Not So Silent Night

The Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg St., Wichita, will be home to radio station T-95’s “Not So Silent Night” concert, which will feature alternative metal band Chevelle plus Aranda and Livy High. The show is at 8 p.m. Saturday, and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available at www.thecotillion.com or by calling 316-722-4201.

The Orpheum: Three shows

The historic Orpheum Theatre, 200 N. Broadway, has three concerts on the schedule this week. Blues/rock duo Moreland & Arbuckle will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are $15.

American English, a Beatles cover band, will be at there 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are available for $18, $23, $28.

Then, at 8 p.m. on Thursday, the Grammy-winning Robert Cray Band will perform. Tickets are available for $29.50, $36.50, $40.50.

The Stiefel and The Fox

Aaron Neville, known for his song “Everybody Plays the Fool,” will perform his show “A Christmas Celebration” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Stiefel Theatre, 151 S. Santa Fe, Salina. Don McLean, the singer-songwriter known for his song “American Pie,” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Theatre, 18 E. First Ave., Hutchinson. Tickets are $39, $41, $44 and available at www.hutchinsonfox.com. For more information, call 620-663-5861.
