An 82-year-old woman who went missing Monday has been found, a Sedgwick County Dispatch supervisor said.

An off-duty Wichita police officer located Joy L. Nutter around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Inter-Faith Inn, 320 E. Central, the supervisor said. She was turned over to an on-duty officer and is uninjured, the supervisor said.

Foul play is not suspected in her disappearance, Wichita police spokesman Lt. Doug Nolte said in a news release.

Police asked for the public’s help in finding Nutter late Tuesday afternoon after she was reported missing. She was last seen about 6 p.m. Monday near 200 N. Rock Road.

Police said Nutter has mild dementia and may not have known where she was.
