2 men hit by bullet in accidental shooting

Two men were treated for minor gunshot wounds Monday night after an accidental shooting in the 3100 block of North Salina, Wichita police said.

Lt. Doug Nolte said the men, both 22, drove to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis about 9:15 p.m. They were treated and later released..

One of the men was holding the gun when it discharged, Nolte said. He said the bullet went through that man’s hand and struck the other man in the left thigh
