Ag profitability conference set for Dec. 11

Agricultural producers can get some insight into the upcoming year at the Ag Profitability Conference next week.

The conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 11. at the Sedgwick County Extension Education Center, 7001 W 21st.

The keynote speaker will be Barry Flinchbaugh of Kansas State University. Other presentations will be: Economics of Different Tillage Systems, Troy Dumler, KSU; Cattle and Beef Market Outlook, Glynn Tonsor, KSU; Kansas Hay Market, Steve Hessman, Kansas Department of Agriculture; Grain Market Situation and Outlook, Dan O’Brien, KSU; Environmental Regulations Now and Future, Steve Swaffer, Farm Bureau.
