Your Christmas questionnaire

Take a moment to ponder your Christmas customs, and jot us an answer or five by Dec. 10 for possible inclusion in a holiday story:

• White lights or colored lights?

• Real tree or fake?

• Chevy Chase or Charlie Brown?

• Incandescent or LED?

• Ribbons or tinsel?

• Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

• Snowy or balmy?

• Bing Crosby or Mariah Carey?

• Fudge or fruitcake?

You can answer any or all questions, and your answers can be thoughtful, funny or sentimental – but always brief. E-mail acalovich@wichitaeagle.com and include your name, hometown and daytime phone number.

In bloom, for sale at Botanica

Fresh greens from the gardens and poinsettias from Dutch’s Greenhouse are among the goodies for sale at Botanica during the holidays. You can buy the stems, arrangements and plants during day hours or in the evening during Illuminations. Pictured above is the Shimmer Surprise poinsettia, blooming in the lobby.
