A little more than a week is left to nominate an area company for the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Small Business Awards.

The annual awards recognize locally based companies that are growing. There are two divisions: one for companies with one to 25 employees and a second for companies with 26 to 100 employees.

Businesses may nominate themselves or be nominated by others.

Nominees must have been in business for three years, be based in the area, contribute to the community and have a primary source of revenue from business operations.

Five nominees will be selected as finalists in each of the divisions. Finalists are featured in The Eagle’s Business Today section and profiled during a luncheon ceremony held by the Chamber. Winner in each category will be announced May 1.

Nominations are due by Dec. 7. More information and nomination forms can be found at www.WichitaChamber.org
