Wichita State faces Arkansas in NCAA volleyball

Wichita State earned its sixth straight at-large bid to the NCAA volleyball tournament on Sunday. The Shockers will play Arkansas on Friday in Lawrence as part of the Austin (Texas) Regional.

WSU (22-9) lost in the final of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Saturday. Arkansas (22-9) finished second in the SEC Western Division. Top-seeded Kansas (25-6) plays Cleveland State (23-6). The winners meet on Saturday for the right to advance to the round of 16 in Austin.

Kansas State (21-8) meets Northern Iowa (24-8) in Lincoln, Neb. MVC champion Creighton (28-3) plays Marquette (27-6) in Minneapolis.
