A 63-year-old Cowley County man was taken to the hospital after he rolled his vehicle Saturday morning near Udall, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports.
Kenneth Schuler of Winfield was northbound on 21st Street one mile south of the town when he fell asleep, according to the Highway Patrol. He veered into the road’s west ditch and rolled a 2003 Hyundai around 9 a.m.
Schuler was taken to William Newton Hospital in Winfield. A hospital spokeswoman was unable to provide his condition Saturday night but said Schuler was stable.
Schuler was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred, according to the Highway Patrol. He was the sole occupant of the Hyundai.
