Shocker women lose another

Richmond held the Wichita State women scoreless for almost eight minutes in the second half on the way to a 49-46 win over the Shockers on Friday at the Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico.

WSU recovered and led 46-44 with 2:28 to play, but didn’t score again.

Jessica Diamond led WSU with 17 points.

The Shockers face James Madison on Saturday at noon to finish play in Cancun.
