Michael Martin Murphey in concert

Grammy-nominated singer Michael Martin Murphey will bring his Cowboy Christmas show to Prairie Rose Chuckwagon Supper this weekend.

The event is scheduled for Saturday and. Sunday at the venue,15231 SW Parallel St., Benton. The $47 ticket will include the concert plus an all- you-can-eat chuckwagon supper, horse-drawn wagon ride, access to the Silver Screen Cowboy Museum and a copy of Murphey’s greatest hits CD. Doors open at 5 p.m. Saturday with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the show to follow. On Sunday, gates open at noon with dinner at 1 p.m. and the show at 2 p.m. This is the 20th anniversary of Murphey’s Christmas tour. For more information, visit www.prairierosechuckwagon.com.

Cosmic Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd cosmic light shows “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall” and “Wish You Were Here” will show at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Exploration Place’s Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium, 300 N. McLean Blvd. All three films will be included in the $12 cost. Parental discretion is advised, and the show is recommended for ages 17 or older. Festival of Trees

Goodwill Industries will present a sneak peek of its annual Festival of Trees from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. Thursday at Century II Exhibition Hall, 225 W. Douglas. The event includes more than 90 decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and centerpieces. Entertainment and refreshments are included in the $2 admission fee. The event’s Starlight Gala and Tree Auction, which includes a live auction of the decorated trees, as well as silent auction of wreaths, gifts and more, will be staged at 6 p.m. Nov. 30. Tickets are $75 a person, and reservations are required.

The public viewing of trees will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 and 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2. Admission is $5. For more information, visit www.goodwillks.org or call 316-744-9291.
