The owner of Jim’s Tire and Auto Service arrived at work early Monday morning to an unpleasant surprise: someone had broken into his business, police said.
The burglar broke into the business at 1205 S. Rock Road, then threw a battery through a glass door to get to the office, Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte said. He then took cash and keys. The owner discovered the break-in at 4:45 a.m. when he arrived to open the business, Nolte said.
