Police are searching for two suspects in the armed robbery of the KC Gas and Grocery, 1161 N. Broadway, just before midnight on Friday.
According to police, the store clerk had just closed up for the night when he was approached by two armed men. One pointed a gun at his chest and ordered him back into the store where they cleaned out the cash registers. They left on foot.
The suspects are described as: a black male, 5 foot 9 inches, 160 pounds, wearing a black jacket and black pants; and as a black male, 5 foot 8 inches, 150 pounds, wearing a red jacket and white shirt.
