Carolyn Davis made 12 of 16 shots and scored 27 points to lead the Kansas women’s basketball team to a 68-58 win over Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday in Lawrence.
Angel Goodrich had 17 points, eights assists and five steals for KU, and Tania Jackson came off the bench for 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Davis and Goodrich combined for 25 points in the first half as KU took a 34-27 lead. Southeast Missouri pulled even at 44-44, but Jackson scored eight points during a 12-0 KU run to help the Jayhawks regain control.
