An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg Monday afternoon, authorities said, and police are looking for one or more suspects.

The incident was reported at about 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Volutsia, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. The man was shot in the left thigh above the knee, he said.

The victim was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.

Three men and one woman ran from the scene, the supervisor said, and officers were still looking for them.
