The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce has named Jason Ball its president and CEO.
Ball will take over in December from Jon Daveline, who has served as interim president since April.
Ball has worked as director of business development for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce/Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development in Lincoln, Neb.
He recently received the certified economic/community development designation and graduated from the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Nebraska.
“Jason brings diverse knowledge with a strong economic development background to the chamber,” chamber board chairman Lowell Peachy said in a statement. “We are looking forward to fresh leadership and focus on our expanding membership services, growing tourism and visitor industry, and new community development initiatives in Hutchinson and Reno County.”
