Sophomore quarterback Simon McKee, a Halstead native, has been the difference with 797 rushing yards, 656 passing yards and 16 total touchdowns.
Friends (6-3, 5-2) at No. 19 Ottawa (6-2, 6-1), 1:30 p.m. — The Falcons must win to keep their NAIA playoff hopes alive. Friends has a pair of All-American candidates in linebacker Marcus Carter (117 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss) and defensive end Dexter Davis, who has 13 sacks and 18 tackles for loss totaling 105 yards.
