Officials from the new Ambassador Hotel downtown will hold a job fair next week, seeking to hire people for up to 100 positions, according to a news release on Friday.
The job fair will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday on the ground floor banquet room of the Eaton Place on the southwest corner of Douglas and St. Francis.
The hotel, which plans to open at the end of the year, is looking to hire for such positions as front desk concierge, bellman, valet, housekeeper, administrative assistant, accounting assistant, sales coordinator, maintenance supervisor, front office supervisor and housekeeping supervisor. It also is seeking to hire for positions at its Siena Tuscan Steakhouse.
Officials recommend job seekers bring copies of their resume to the fair. Applications will be available at the event.
Free parking is available in the parking lot behind Naftzger Park on the southeast corner of Douglas and St. Francis, according to the news release.
