Wichita State to hold ACT workshop for high school students

High school students who want help preparing for the ACT test can attend a workshop at Wichita State University’s Counseling and Testing Center from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 17, at WSU.

The workshop will help students prepare for English, reading, math and science test sections, presenting general test-taking tips and practice questions.

The cost is $32. Registration can be done online at www.registerblast.com/wsu.

The next national test date for the ACT is Saturday, Dec. 8.

Students need to bring a pencil and a calculator. All other materials will be supplied, including practice tests.
