Two men familiar with issues of the presidential election will debate Tuesday at Wichita State University whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama should be elected as the next president of the United States.

David Kensinger, senior adviser to Gov. Sam Brownback, and Democratic legislator Jim Ward will make the case for electing Romney or Obama. The debate will be from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in 104 Lindquist Hall. The public is invited, though university officials said space is limited.

The debate is co-sponsored by the WSU Political Science Club and professor Mel Kahn’s Presidency class.
