Thieves stole four cars and vandalized seven others at an east Wichita auto dealership late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, police said.

The crimes were discovered when an employee arrived for work shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday at Discount Auto Sales, 9901 E. Kellogg, Lt. Doug Nolte said.

Police have not yet released descriptions of the stolen vehicle. Those responsible broke into the office, then broke into some cars and stole others, Nolte said. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video for clues about the crime.

The crime took place sometime after 6 p.m. Tuesday and before 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nolte said. The value of the stolen and damaged cars has not been released.
