The Sunday Eagle headline should have read, “The Kochs’ plan to buy America” – not “save” it.
Dear God: You can retire now. The Kochs will just buy those they feel worthy to run our country. Example: Kansas.
So it turns out the guy playing billionaire whisperer to the Kochs is named “Rich Fink”? The irony is sublime.
What’s next for the Koch brothers? Beatification?
The Koch brothers are out to rule the country as an oligarchy. Is The Eagle formally applying for the propaganda department?
The Eagle continually does a hatchet job on the Koch brothers. Why not a hatchet job on George Soros and his millions to support Obama and the liberal Air America radio network?
I am with you, Charles Koch. Lead us on to help make a better future for our children. For years you have provided many unsung contributions to our community. I hope others can see who you are and the good you are trying to accomplish for our country. Thank you.
The creator of “Friday Night Lights” wants Mitt Romney to stop using the slogan from his TV show, “Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.” I would suggest, “Big lies, hard heart, can’t win.”
Obama was asked by Sesame Workshop to stop running his Big Bird attack ad because “Sesame Street” characters are nonpartisan. Ha – “Sesame Street” is more left-wing than a bucket of KFC.
So which is it, America? Cool and eloquent? Or competence and character?
Am I the only person who thinks Paul Ryan looks like Eddie Munster?
The Nobel Peace Prize went to the European Union for being a stabilizing force. The committee must have missed the riots in Greece. Between this and the mass-murdering gunman’s 21-year sentence, the Norwegians’ brains appear to have fallen out.
I have an 8-year-old vehicle, and my property tax on it was reduced by a whopping $22 this year. Why can’t I accelerate my depreciation on it, like a corporate-jet owner can on his plane? I can use a tax break. Don’t car buyers create jobs, too?
The closing of three bridges over the Arkansas River at once (Lewis, Douglas and Second Street, for the Prairie Fire Marathon) should not be allowed.
