Kuboya wins Japan Open

Kenichi Kuboya shot a 1-under 70 on Sunday to capture the Japan Open title.

Kuboya finished at 8-over 292 at Naha Golf Club to lock up his sixth career Japan Tour win.

Juvic Pagunsan placed second at 9-over, Tetsuji Hiratsuka was third at 10-over and Ashun Wu, Do-Hoon Kim and Yusaku Miyazato all ended at 12-over 296 to tie for fourth place.

Pagunsan was ahead late in the final round before recording a double-bogey on the par-3 17th and a bogey on the last en route to a 4-over 75 and a second- place finish.
