Police arrested four people early Thursday in connection with a robbery at a McDonald’s restaurant at 2261 N. Amidon.

Police said the robbery occurred at 3:25 a.m. when a man approached a drive-up window and told a clerk he had a gun. Lt. Joe Schroeder said the man reached into a cash register and grabbed some cash before leaving the area in a car carrying several other people.

Officers stopped the car about 20 minutes later near Kellogg and Broadway, Schroeder said. Two men, ages 21 and 24, and two women, ages 17 and 19, were booked into jail on robbery charges, he said.
