The first Academy Sports and Outdoors store in Kansas is scheduled to open at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, according to a communications specialist with the company.
The store is located near the intersection of 29th and Maize. The day before the opening, the store will hold a private youth shopping spree with the Boys & Girls Club. More information about the opening events will be released in the coming weeks.
