A masked man pointing a handgun at a clerk robbed the Days Inn at 7321 E. Kellogg on Tuesday night, Wichita police said Wednesday.
The robbery was reported about 7:05 p.m., police Lt. Doug Nolte said. No one was injured.
The robber pointed what appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun and was described as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a clear mask with makeup. A second suspect remained outside the Days Inn in a white Dodge Charger, Nolte said.
Investigators were seeking video evidence.
