Wichita schools to offer ‘no bullying’ workshop

Parents play a key role in preventing and responding to incidents of bullying, but many aren’t sure how to approach the problem.

The Wichita school district is planning a free workshop for parents later this month. The “Say No to Bullying” workshop is 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16 at West High School, 820 S. Osage.

The workshop will address differences between bullying and conflict, online safety and digital citizenship, empowering children and creating a positive school environment.
