Two men were arrested Sunday in connection with a shooting in west Wichita.
A 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were taken into custody early Sunday after a shooting in the 9000 block of West Murdock, near Central and Tyler Road. The shooting happened at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday. The victim, a 21-year-old man, told police he had been shot in the stomach, said Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The man who was shot was transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in serious condition.
