William the Goofball, a 5-year-old male pug mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I am a cutie: Would you not agree? I love to be involved with my human friends, and as you can see, I have been treated quite well. Maybe a little too treated, but we can work on that with exercise. My personality lends itself to laughter and full-face smiles. I enjoy staying busy and being social. Would you be interested in sharing this fun life?

Also available:

• Copper the Wallflower, 10-month-old female Labrador retriever mix

Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this sweet face and these big old puppy dog eyes every day? I’m a great dog who’s intelligent and ready for playtime. I just want to be your devoted and loving companion for life. My dream is to have a forever home. Help make my dream come true.

•  Mallory the Personal Assistant, 7-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi! I’m Mallory, a big, sweet girl who is big on loving you. I’m beautiful, too. My owners are moving and I can’t come. I would make a sweetheart for an older person or kids who need a friend. I’m just a good cat who is looking for a forever loving home.

•  Nathaniel the Private Investigator, 4-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi, my name is Nathaniel. I am very sweet, but a little shy at first. It would be nice to go to a forever loving home, one where I can play around with my human friends and take naps all day long. Come down to the Kansas Humane Society and let’s start our friendship now.

•  Habibiti the Rabbit, Dutch purebred rabbit, female, age unknown

My name is Habibiti and I’m in foster care right now. I’m a little shy at first, but I adapt quickly. Once I get comfortable around you, I’d love it if you’d gently pet my head and ears. With a little patience and some time, I could be the best pet you’ve ever owned.
