A woman missing from her home has been located, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said Thursday night.

Gracie Garcia, 39, was reported missing after she had not been in touch with relatives since earlier this week. She was found sometime Thursday, the dispatch supervisor said.

Further details were not available.

After receiving word the woman could not be located, authorities sent an officer to check on Garcia at her house in the 1500 block of North Spruce, Lt. Steve Kenney said. When the officer got no response, he forced his way inside and found no one home.

Garcia has an addiction history and no car, family has told police.
