Police search for missing 82-year-old man with Alzheimer’s

Police are looking for an missing 82-year-old man who has Alzheimer’s disease.

Elijah Smith was reported missing by a daughter who couldn’t contact him and went to check on him at his house in the 1500 block of North Erie on Thursday, Lt. Steve Kenney said. He is a black man about 5 feet, 3 inches and 110 pounds.

Authorities were notified at about 9 p.m. Thursday.
