There’s nothing much more embarrassing than showing up at the wrong time, or worse yet, the wrong place, for an event. Or not showing up at said time or place after making plans to be there.
So here’s a heads-up for those who regularly take part in the Kruz’n for Kids Charity Car Cruise: there have been some changes in location.
This year’s 8th annual edition is set for Oct. 14, with the cruise lineup beginning at noon at the WSU parking lot at 21st and Hillside, departing at promptly 1 p.m. The destination will be The Alley, in the bowling alley parking lot at 11413 E. 13th St.
Folks who just want to donate new, unwrapped toys for the Toys For Tots campaign can show up there on their own from 1:30-3 p.m.
