A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for alleged sex crimes against two young girls, police said.
The alleged offenses occurred several days ago at a house in southeast Wichita, Exploited and Missing Child Unit Lt. Jeff Weible said. The incident was reported at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and Weible said several people were taken to EMCU offices for interrogation.
The girls are 4 and 5 years old, and the arrested teen is a friend of the family.
He was booked on suspicion of rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child, according to a police report.
