Aerosmith coming to Intrust Bank Arena

Rock band Aerosmith will perform at Intrust Bank Arena on Nov. 11, the venue announced Tuesday.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday and will be $49.50, $99.50 and $149.50.

The opening act will be Cheap Trick.

Aerosmith is known for hits such as “Dream On” and “Walk This Way.” The group last performed in Wichita in 2002, when it drew a crowd of 8,585 to the Kansas Coliseum.

Lead singer Steven Tyler served as a judge on the last season of “American Idol.” The group’s latest album, “Music From Another Dimension,” is scheduled for a Nov. 6 release.
