Wichita police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Old Town early Sunday morning.

A man in his mid 30s told police he was walking in the 100 block of N. Mosley shortly after the bars had closed for the night, about 2:15 Sunday morning, when he was struck in the back of head, temporarily losing consciousness.

When he woke, his wallet was missing, according to Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department. The man told police his wallet contained $200 in cash.
