CityArts is now taking scholarship applications for youths seeking help to pay for its fall workshops and art classes.

Ages 6 through 21 are eligible to apply. Scholarships are awarded based on availability.

CityArts, an advocate for the local arts community, offers art education to adults and children of all skill levels in a variety of mediums. Classes and workshops include instruction in ceramics, photography, film and painting.

The fall session ends in December. Space is limited.

Scholarships are sponsored by The Arts Council, which promotes cultural arts in Wichita. Applications and a list of open classes are available at www.wichitaarts.com or at CityArts downtown location, 334 N. Mead.
