High school students needing study preparation for the math portion of the ACT test can turn to Wichita State for help.

WSU’s Counseling and Testing Center is offering a math workshop.

The workshop is at 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 29 at WSU.

The cost is $25 and students can register at www.registerblast.com.

Students need to bring a calculator and a pencil. All other materials will be supplied, including practice tests.

The next testing date for the ACT is Saturday, Oct. 27.

“We get a lot of response from (USD) 259 and the other districts,” said Melinda Ware, at the testing center.

For more information, or for paper registration, contact Ware at the Counseling and Testing Center, 316-978-5339 or melinda.ware@wichita.edu.
