Wichita weather: A chance of morning showers

Showers may continue in the Wichita area through the morning hours today, forecasters say.

Highs may touch 70, with winds out of the northeast in the low teens. Overnight lows are expected to drop to the mid-50s, with light winds shifting to the east.

Saturday should see skies start to clear, with highs in the mid-70s. Sunday should be sunny and warmer, forecasters say, with highs in the low 80s.
