Caleb McNary
Director of operations, Justin McClure Creative
Caleb McNary thought about teaching history, his major at Kansas State University, but he changed his mind after a couple of years working in the business and nonprofit fields.
In fact, it was while working for Numana – the nonprofit international food packaging agency founded by his father, Rick – that he connected with the folks at Justin McClure Creative. He started working for the company in July.
"I oversee the business side of things and let them take care of the creative," McNary said. "We try to marry the two together to make a profitable and successful business."
McNary, 29, grew up in Potwin. He ran his own photography studio in El Dorado for several years before deciding that the spread of digital cameras "make it hard to make a living doing that."
He then served as director of communications for Numana, which has shipped millions of meals to hungry people around the world. McNary’s bio describes him as a "writer, blogger and social media specialist."
McNary and his wife, Kristy, have a daughter, Cailyn, 3, and son, Evan, 1.
He is studying for a master’s degree in global leadership and management at Friends University.
“Any business in this environment right now is truly global," he said.
