Three of four winners of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Women to Watch awards are from Wichita, the organization announced Monday.

Shelly Hammond, vice president at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, and Christina Ricke, member of Kennedy and Coe, were named winners in the Experienced Leader category.

And Stephanie Bowen, tax director of Flint Hills Resources, was one of two winners in the Emerging Leader category. Tammy Bryant, owner of Varney & Associates in Manhattan, was the other winner.

The women will be recognized at a Sept. 21 luncheon in Overland Park.

They were among a total of 19 women CPAs nominated for the awards, which recognizes CPAs who are contributing to the advancement or their profession and involvement within their communities.
