Two people with gunshot wounds were taken to Wesley Medical Center early Sunday.
Wichita police believe the two were wounded in the 1400 block of North Bluff shortly before 3:30 a.m. A 27-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. A 30-year-old woman was shot in the hip. The man was uncooperative with police and would not tell them what happened, according to Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The 30-year-old woman told police she was in a car on Bluff to attend a party when several shots rang out. One round came through the window of the vehicle she was in and struck her in the hip. She was treated and released.
Later, police found in that block four shell casings from a handgun..
