Terry Price shot a 5-under 67 on Sunday to cruise to a comfortable win at the Pon Senior Open 2012, his first victory on the European Senior Tour.
Price finished 54 holes at 16-under 200 and won by six strokes over Barry Lane (66) and Marc Farry (69) at WINSTONopen Course.
Price took a 3-shot lead into the final round and wasted little time in making sure everyone knew this was his tournament to lose. He birdied the first and third holes for the third time this week, then put the tournament basically out of reach with four straight birdies around the turn.
A bogey at the 13th momentarily derailed Price, but the Aussie parred out for the easy victory.
Bill Longmuir managed a 1-under 71 and took fourth at 9-under par.
Gary Wolstenholme (68), Andrew Sherborne (69) and Glenn Ralph (72) shared fifth at 8-under par.
Bernhard Langer posted a 4-under 68 and tied for eighth at minus-7.
