Wichita police have recovered one of two pickups that were stolen early Saturday morning from the Joe Self Chevrolet lot at 8801 E. Kellogg.
Police Sgt. Bruce Watts said a video tape at the business shows that two suspects were dropped off at the business around 4 a.m. and managed to shut off the outdoor lights at the business. The two used a 2008 pickup to knock open a locked gate, he said, then stole that pickup and a 2010 extended-cab Chevrolet Colorado.
The 2008 pickup was later recovered at the Claremont Apartments at 9100 East Harry, Watts said.
