Nick Taylor was 0 for 2 in previous attempts at medaling in Paralympics quad singles tennis, but he made an impressive comeback Friday in London to earn the bronze medal.
Taylor, from Wichita, lost the first set 6-1 to Shraga Weinberg of Israel. But he rallied to win the second set 6-3 and took the final set 6-4.
Along with partner David Wagner, Taylor won doubles gold for the third straight time on Wednesday.
