Top state officials will meet with small businesses around the state next week to answer questions about recent regulatory and tax changes.
The Wichita visit is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce Board Room, 350 W. Douglas Ave.
Commerce Secretary Pat George, Revenue Secretary Nick Jordan, Labor Secretary Karin Brownlee and Securities Commissioner Aaron Jack will talk particularly about tax reform changes for 2013 enacted by the Legislature, state efforts to recruit businesses, and Rural Opportunity Zones.
On Tuesday, they will visit Manhattan, Norton, Hays and Dodge City. On Wednesday, they will visit Hutchinson and Independence, in addition to Wichita.
