Bombardier Aerospace said this week it has powered up the electrical systems of its first production Learjet 75.

“This milestone represents a significant step forward for our Learjet aircraft family, as we were able to seamlessly integrate the Learjet 75 into our production flow,” said Ralph Acs, vice president and general manager of Learjet, in a news release.

Acs said this particular aircraft “will play a pivotal role in the certification program.”

The Learjet 75 is expected to enter service in 2013.
